The internet has simplified open communications between businesses and its clients and customers. Providing a measure of transparency.
The problem is that until now there hasn’t been a central place where local businesses could communicate to area consumers — for free.
By providing a free city portal we hope to make finding local business easier for people in our community.
True, a person could search through Google or Bing or Yahoo to find local companies. The biggest problem with search engines though is search engine ’spam’. Finding specific local companies can be difficult, and sometimes impossible.
Because we only accept postings from local companies, finding local companies here is easy.

Soon local businesses will be able to list their companies in the forum, so local residents and other local businesses can find each other quickly and easily. Make certain your company is listed.
Local residents and area companies can find you by searching for your company name, industry, and even by specific types of products or services. This is the true method people search online. They rarely search by company category.
Amazon is an example of a company that gets this new trend in searching. The Yellow Pages is an example of an industry that doesn’t understand that people actually search for specific products and services. Rarely by industry.
So, you want to be listed in our directory not just by your company name, but also according to the product or services that you offer. That way your company can be easily found locally, no matter which method people use for finding you.
